We are aware of our social responsibility and our corporate duty of care and actively accept these.
Our aim is to avoid or minimize the negative impact of our business activities on people and the environment. By pursuing a responsible procurement policy and passing on our values to our business partners in our supply chain, we can have a direct influence on the observance of human rights on the one hand and the protection of the environment on the other. Our Declaration of Principles with Code of Conduct is therefore based on the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the ILO core labor standards, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
Our certifications
Green Button 2.0
The Green Button is a government seal for sustainable textiles that was launched in 2019 on the initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and has been continuously developed ever since. In order for our products to bear the Grüner Knopf seal, they are checked by independent inspection bodies to determine whether we as a company are living up to our responsibility towards people and the environment in the supply chain and fulfilling our corporate duty of care. On the one hand, they check whether we are aware of the environmental and social risks in our supply chain and what measures we are taking to prevent them. It also assesses whether we report transparently and whether there are grievance mechanisms.
On the other hand, it must also be proven that the respective product was manufactured sustainably. The Green Button acts as a so-called metal label. This means that the Grüner Knopf does not set its own criteria, but refers to other recognized labels. These labels, such as the GOTS certification for ecological standards, serve to prove the sustainability of the production processes.
GOTS
We work sustainably and are certified according to the GOTS standard. The Global Organic Textile Standard is the world's leading standard in the textile industry. The GOTS certificate guarantees controlled and sustainable production in all social and ecological aspects across all stages of the supply chain: this begins with environmentally and socially responsible raw material extraction, continues with fair and sustainable further processing and manufacture and ends with the labeling of the end products after all production stages have been checked. The GOTS label thus guarantees textiles that are produced in an ecologically and socially responsible manner and are harmless to health.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
MBA has successfully passed the Ökotex 100 audit.
The Ökotex 100 standard enables everyone to make responsible decisions to protect natural resources. It is driven by sustainability and transparency. Products bearing the Ökotex 100 label are tested for harmful substances. In order to offer our customers a fast service of having T-shirts individually printed, we purchase Ökotex 100 certified shirts, have ourselves been Ökotex 100 certified and keep a small stock of these products. If required at short notice, these are then printed here in Germany in an Ökotex 100 and STeP certified partner company.
Our alliances
Amfori - Trade with purpose
We at MBA-Solutions GmbH are proud to be part of the Amfori Alliance. This alliance is committed to responsible and sustainable trade practices, promotes compliance with social and environmental standards in global supply chains and supports companies in implementing ethical business practices. Through our membership, we actively contribute to a fair and sustainable future for trade.
Partnership for sustainable textiles
We are a proud member of the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles. This multi-stakeholder initiative brings together members from the business community, including companies and associations, trade unions, non-governmental organizations, standards organizations and the German government. Together, we are committed to a social, ecological and corruption-free textile and clothing industry. In order to achieve its goals, the Textiles Partnership attaches particular importance to the implementation of corporate due diligence obligations in Germany, Europe and worldwide. Through our membership, we are making an active contribution to a fair and sustainable future for the textile industry. For compliance with the German Supply Chain Act and certification with the Green Button.

Actions
We are actively working to avoid and reduce the negative impact of our textile production on people and the environment. To this end, we regularly carry out a comprehensive risk analysis, the results of which enable us to introduce targeted measures and make decisions in purchasing practice and supplier management. In order to facilitate direct contact and exchange with the workers in the garment factories, we have set up a complaints management system where workers can contact us directly with complaints and ideas. In this way, we can be informed directly about grievances and rectify them in an uncomplicated and targeted manner. We want to treat the people who manufacture our textiles fairly and as equals. We stand up for this and act in a targeted and humane manner.
